Self portrait at Timber Lake
Rocky Mountain National Park, CO

Journal entry:
"The first 3.4 miles were uneventful - just a walk through the woods.
The trail started off kinda steep & then leveled out with a slight incline.
The last 1.4 miles was switchback after switchback. It was exhausting."
"I got to the lake around 11. I was right at the tree line.
Trees were there but nothing above."
"The sign at the lake said 11,040'. It started around 9,000'."
